The Sheridan Student Union  Ambassador Program

This is a new program that the Student Union is initiating at Sheridan, and enthusiastic volunteers will be key to its success this year. Students with a keen interest in leadership opportunities would be a great addition to the
group!

What is a Student Union Ambassador (SUA)?
SUAs are student volunteers designated to:

study;
Stay up-to-date on SU services, events, activities, etc.;
Communicate relevant information between their classmates and the SU

Responsibilities of a SUA
Maintain communication between their classmates and the SU
Attend once-per-month SUA meetings
Stay up-to-date on SU events, awareness campaigns, available services,
etc. and share this information among their classmates
Ensure that their classmates are completely informed of what’s
happening within SU
Act as a primary contact for their classmates’ SU-related comments and
concerns
Ensure that their classmates are properly represented in their feedback
to SU

Benefits of being a SUA
Opportunity to voice the opinions, concerns, and feedback of your
classmates directly to the SU
